‘PERSONAL NARRATIVE SPACES’

Exhibition Brief:

“Our past determines the present, and that history is key to our future. The genre of narrative jewelry is a perfect vehicle to explore topics of personal interest, whether profound or novel, creating new perspectives and approaches.

The challenge for participants is to communicate their past or current experiences, their journeys and research, and generate wearable objects, which provoke, surprise and/or entertain the viewer.”
(Prof. Dr. Jack Cunningham)

Conference

“Intersections of Identity and Modernity” Conference
with domestic and international invited speakers.

The conference explores the new directions of creative arts and the unique intersection of our individual thoughts. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of contemporary design perspectives, current scientific discoveries, and the possible connections between the arts, while showcasing the creative processes that give meaning to this centuries-old dialogue.

We are delighted that the conference was attended by professors, students from domestic art universities and schools—MOME, PTE, Szimultán Art School, Budai Drawing School—and representatives from professional organizations such as FISE and NEKSZOE.

Creative Designing Teamwork

As part of the Inflow Contemporary Jewelry Exhibition and Conference, we offer a unique professional program titled Creative Designing Teamwork.

This program involves the exhibitors and some of the international jury members, focusing on community-based professional work and deepening relationships.

During the workshop, the exhibited jewelry pieces will serve as inspiration for developing a new, shared object concept, offering participants a unique opportunity for creativity, collaboration, and professional dialogue.

Dr. Jack Cunningham, Teamwork

We Are Proud Of, what they said about us:

“In the last scorching weekend of August 2024, the InFlow exhibition in Szentendre made an explosive entry into the domestic artistic jewelry scene. Its impact was so powerful that it surprised both the participants and the wider profession… The event’s massive domestic and international success calls for a continuation, and we hope it becomes a tradition!”
(Hungarian Applied Arts, István Simonyi)

“An exceptionally high-quality, well-organized series of events, with attention to every small detail. It was an honor to participate in the exhibition!” (Sz.L.)

“Professionally outstanding, very professional.” (L.V.)

“It was an exciting and uplifting experience to be part of the exhibition and workshop. The atmosphere and organization were fantastic, and it was truly inspiring for me.” (N.E.)

“I was glad that the events were so well organized. We greatly appreciated the exhibition being held at multiple venues.” (N.M.)

“This was such an inspiring experience! I am so grateful that you provide such wonderful opportunities for artists to connect with each other through their art.” (I.C.)

“At the Inflow exhibition, I saw the works of many excellent designers from different countries for the first time, which gave me a lot of inspiration. The conference also highlighted that, as long as everyone shares the same goal, even strangers can create strong teamwork.” (H.Z.)

“The Inflow exhibition team is very dedicated and responsible. I sincerely hope we will have the opportunity to collaborate with you again.” (T.W.)
